Insurance & Financing

We will file insurance claims as a courtesy for our patients. Insurance coverage constantly changes. Coverage dates, limitations, exclusions, fee schedules, usual and customary rates vary at the discretion of the insurance company. Your insurance is a contract between you, your employer, and your insurance company. We will verify patient eligibility and the percentage at which they pay toward preventative, basic, and major procedures. We will also calculate your co-pay as a percentage of our fees. Because of the variables associated with insurance, your co- pay will be an estimate only. We will file the insurance claim, and after payment by the insurance company, you will be billed or reimbursed. As a courtesy to our patients, we can file a pre-determination of benefits to your insurance provider, which will explain benefit allowances for pending treatment. The allowance is an estimate of the insurance benefits. Insurance companies will not give us actual payment information until after the service has been provided.

For patients with both primary and secondary insurances, we will file the claim to the primary insurance company. Upon receiving primary payment, we will file the secondary insurance claim.

We will be more than happy to file all insurance on your behalf. We are the preferred providers for the following:

  • United Concordia*
  • Delta Dental*
  • Blue Cross Blue Shield
  • MetLife (PDP+ plans only)
  • GEHA
  • Principal
  • SunLife
  • Lincoln

* We are no longer accepting new patients with United Concordia or Delta Dental. You are considered a NEW patient if you are new to our office or haven’t received preventative care at WFD within the last 18 months.

If you have any questions, please feel free to call our office at 478-825-2001.
